Meeting Management Skills (Pathway Bundle)

Have you ever been to a meeting where decisions need to be made and no one knows what to do? Or there is an "expert" at the meeting who claims to know parliamentary procedure — even when they don't? While some people may just have a knack for conducting decision-making meetings, the truth is anyone can understand and develop strong meeting management skills. In this series of courses, you will learn the basics of meeting management, accompanied by strategies and behaviors to make meetings run smoothly and efficiently. Finally, you will be given tips for making group decisions exactly the way you want, with the correct wording, and at the proper time. These courses have been developed as an online offering from the second AIP Correspondence Course on Meeting Management Skills. Rather than sitting and reading or listening to an e-Learning course in a single pass, we structured this online experience to compliment and enhance the readings on each topic. Each course contains assigned readings from the required textbooks, an interactive lesson, and a quiz to assess your knowledge. All of the quiz questions have answers provided when you take each lesson's quiz. You can take these courses at your own speed and return to each as many times as you would like. The average time to complete each course is one week. All courses will be available to you for a period of two years. We hope you will find this course both interesting and useful.
