Classification of Motions

This course introduces the foundational framework for organizing and understanding motions in parliamentary procedure. Learners will explore the five classes of motions—main, subsidiary, privileged, incidental, and those that bring a question again before the assembly—and how each functions within the hierarchy of meeting rules.
