This course introduces learners to the full range of subsidiary motions, including motions to amend, postpone, refer to a committee, and more. Learners will explore each motion’s rank in the order of precedence, its standard descriptive characteristics, and how to apply these motions to real meeting scenarios. The course also compares how these motions are treated in different parliamentary authorities such as RONR and AIPSC.
