Dilatory, Improper, and Assumed Motions & Renewal of Motions

Learners will examine how to manage inappropriate use of motions, including how presiding officers can rule out of order actions designed to obstruct progress. This course also explores the concept of assumed motions—those considered automatically pending in certain scenarios—and how they streamline repetitive procedural steps.
