In this course, you will explore what constitutes a quorum in various types of meetings, what happens when a quorum is not present, and the limited actions that may still be taken. You will also examine one of the parliamentarian’s most important functions: offering sound advice to the presiding officer and the assembly to ensure fair and effective deliberations.
